How to Apply

How can I apply for a Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^®?

Apply online or call 1-888-219-1822 to apply by phone.

Can I receive a Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® without already having a Shopper’s card number?

Yes. If you do not currently have a Shopper’s card number with your Kroger Family of Companies, one will be assigned to you.

Can I use my significant other's Shopper’s card number to apply for a Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^®?

Yes. Plus, you can request to add an authorized signer to your Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® account so your significant other can use the card too.

How can I check the status of my application?

Please call 800-947-1444 and choose option 1 for the status of an application. For your security, you will be required to enter your social security number to locate the application. Additional verification item(s) may be needed to validate.

How long will it take to receive my card?

In most cases, when applying online you will receive the status of your application immediately. If you're approved, your card should arrive in 7-10 business days. Length of time varies depending on individual credit status, address verification and card processing time.

How do I activate my card?

Once you receive your card in the mail, call 888-200-9959 to activate.

Where do I go to check my Rewards Points totals?

You can view your earned Rewards Points by logging into Online Banking. Learn more about Online Banking.

When will I receive my cash back/Rewards Points?

Rewards Points are earned at time of purchase and will be reflected on your account after the transaction posts. You can view earned Rewards Points in Online Banking. Learn more about Online Banking. Every 1,000 Rewards Points earned, will be worth a $10 reward.

What redemption options are available?

Once you have earned at least 1,000 Rewards Points ($10), you have the option to redeem for a statement credit or Real-Time Rewards. Once you have earned at least 2,500 Rewards Points ($25), you have the option to redeem for a $25 Kroger Family of Companies Gift Card.

Where do I go to select how to redeem my rewards?

Log into your Online Banking Account and click on Rewards tab to access the Rewards Center homepage. From there you will be able to choose how you would like to redeem your rewards. You can also enroll in Real-Time Rewards at this site and, once enrolled, you’ll be able to instantly redeem earned rewards after making qualifying Kroger Family of Store purchases. You will receive a text with the option to redeem if your rewards balance is at least 1,000 Rewards Points ($10) and your Kroger Family of Companies purchase amount is also at least $10. Reply to the text with “Redeem” to use your earned rewards as a statement credit for the purchases.

Do my points expire?

Yes, after 36 months your points do expire.

Can I call in to redeem rewards?

Yes! If you prefer, please call us at the number at the back of the card to redeem your rewards once you have earned at least 1,000 Rewards Points ($10).

Is my cash back/Rewards Points affected when I return merchandise?

Because you earn cash back/Rewards Points for purchases, the cash back/rewards points you earned for a purchase you return will be subtracted from your point total.

Can I only use the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® for purchases in-store?

No. You can use the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® anywhere Mastercard is accepted. However, you do earn 2% cash back by shopping at the Kroger Family of Companies.

Can I use the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® for instant cash at ATMs?

Yes. You can use your Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^® with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for cash advances at ATMs that accept Mastercard. Cash advances do not earn Rewards Points and may incur a fee.

Is the APR competitive?

The APR is competitive for credit cards that offer rewards. Keep in mind that you pay no interest on purchases if you pay your bill in full by the payment due date each month.

Is there an annual fee for the Kroger Rewards World Elite Mastercard^®?

No, you save money by paying no annual fee.

Discount is available at Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers each time you redeem at least 100 existing fuel points earned in a single month. You must scan, redeem fuel points and pay with your Kroger Family of Companies Rewards World Elite Mastercard® in order to receive the fuel discount. The first-year additional 55¢ discount offer expires one year from the cardmember’s approval date and does not require a spend minimum. Following completion of the introductory fuel offer, your Account will be eligible for an additional 25¢ per gallon discount at Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers when you (1) spend $6,000 annually in eligible net purchases and (2) redeem at least 100 existing fuel points earned in a single month. You must scan, redeem fuel points, and pay with your Kroger Family of Companies Rewards World Elite Mastercard® in order to receive the fuel discount. You must spend at least $6,000 in a calendar year (or within the first 12 months after Account opening, as described below). The date that a transaction is made may not be the same date that a transaction posts to your Account. Transactions must post within the 12-month period to be applied toward the required minimum spend amount. Once the minimum spend is reached, you will be eligible to receive the 25¢ fuel discount starting within the next calendar month. Your Account must be open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) at the time you qualify to receive the fuel discount. Fraudulent transactions will not earn fuel points. The 25¢ fuel discount expires on January 31st and following that date, you will receive 5¢ off per gallon of fuel unless the previous calendar year’s eligible net purchases on your Account totaled at least $6,000 (in which case the 25¢ discount will continue for the remainder of the year). To be eligible for the first calendar year after the Account is opened, your posted spend must equal at least $6,000 during the first 12 months that your Account is open. Eligibility for the second year (even if Account has not been open for 12 months), and future years, is determined on a calendar year basis starting January after the Account is opened. Not valid with any other fuel offer. Accumulation excludes taxes, office services, alcohol, tobacco, fuel, prescriptions and any purchases prohibited by law. Fuel discount effective at participating fuel center locations. Not valid in MO or where prohibited by law. Purchases made at Kroger Family of Companies Fuel Centers do not earn Rewards Points or fuel points. Please see store for fuel discounts details and in-store spending requirements. Selling or purchasing fuel points is prohibited. Fuel redemption offer cannot be combined with any other discounts. No discounts to dealers, wholesalers, or fleet programs. No cash back. Not valid where prohibited by law. We may suspend or remove you from the fuel program due to violation of these terms or because of fraudulent activity or suspected fraudulent activity.
